You will love our semi-private classes. Designed to create an optimal learning environment, most classes are under 6 dogs and there are always two instructors to ensure that each client's needs are met. We will always set up clients and their dogs to be successful and have a blast while learning!
Classes focus on bite inhibition, social skills, learning strategies, shaping play style, capturing good default behaviors and laying the ideal foundation for a safe, happy and well-educated dog! We offer plenty of off leash playtime in this class.
This series runs for 6 weeks and allows for a drop in start date...come when you are ready to start your 6 week series! Sessions are offered on Saturday mornings at 9:15am.
Classes build on the Puppy 101 series by adding formal cues and building skills. Puppy 202 will continue to solidify the basics while strengthening your relationship.

Designed to be detailed and intensive, each series comes with its own private online discussion group, supplementary video tutorials and opportunities to submit homework videos for feedback from the instructor and learning team. Whether your dog is shy, fearful, or easily excited, the small class size will provide an environment where you both can focus and work comfortably.
Ideal for puppies between 3-5 months old, this structured series includes field trips!! The first class will take place at the training center and from there each class will be held in a different location TBD (likely options are vet office, groomer, lawn and garden store, park etc)
Designed for dogs over a year old, this series will cover a variety of basic skills: loose leash walking, attention and engagement, impulse control, practicing position cues, introduction to recall and working with distractions.

It is a great confidence booster and a great way to learn to work with your dog as a team!
Carefully designed to accommodate our shy, fearful and cautious dogs, this series will provide lots of opportunities for teams to safely practice confidence boosting exercises around new people, places and things. We will discuss behavioral management, counter conditioning and desensitization protocols, practice fun pattern games, and learn defensive leash handling techniques that will keep dogs safely moving through their environment.
This series takes you one step at a time through the art of building and maintaining a bombproof “Stay”. Teams will spend time perfecting their “stay” cue and then eventually practicing it with a variety of distractions.
We won’t just teach your dog to come when called …. We use powerful techniques that will teach your dog to WANT to come when called! Even better, we will teach them to check in automatically without you having to say a word!! This is something you don’t want to miss! Our recall courses are pure fun and engagement!
Teams will learn a variety of fetch games including a formal retrieve with bumpers and dumbbells. As teams advance through the training, they can learn things like fetching keys, picking up items off the floor and delivering them to hand, placing socks in a laundry basket, putting away toys in a box, carrying a basket, opening doors and tons more fun and useful tasks.
It’s time to loosen up!! Teams will learn just how powerful fun and games can be when it comes to breaking down the delicate art and science of loose leash walking. You may be surprised to learn some of the techniques in this course. We turn all the reasons that your dog pulls on leash into rewards we can use for NOT pulling!! Don’t believe me… just watch!!
This series focuses on teaching your dog to make better choices and practice self control. Dogs will work around tempting distractions while we rehearse protocols that teach the dog how to make good decisions.
Have you always wanted to learn about clicker training? Now is your chance!! In this series we will use the clicker to teach fun tricks.
Targeting a mat can be one of the most useful skills to teach. This course takes you step by step through the process of conditioning your dog to settle on his mat in any location.
This is a thoughtfully designed program and wonderful opportunity for you and your dog to take advantage of our private dog training academy. Dogs can come for the day to play, train, rest and repeat.
